Phase 1: Collection
The collection phase consists of the STEP/STEG system located at each residence or business as well as all primary and secondary collection lines. The collection lines ultimately deliver all effluent to the central treatment facility.

The STEP system consists of a watertight collection tank, effluent filter, effluent pump, floats and systems controls.

The STEG system consists of a watertight collection tank and effluent filter.
